We have an opening for a full-time Power Plant Operator at the Big Stone Plant; a 475 MW coal-fired generating station, located near Milbank, SD. Successful applicant will assist dayshift Fourth Operator with Air Quality Control System (AQCS) equipment monitoring, operating, and servicing. When not conducting these jobs, the Fifth Operator will train for Fourth Operator duties. Operate, monitor and service plant auxiliary equipment, including scrubber ash and lime handling, and reclaim, ammonia, activated carbon and other auxiliary systems related to AQCS. Assist in other areas as directed by the Chief Operator. Applicants will be required to complete an aptitude inventory.
