Purpose Provide exceptional customer service while working with customers to determine and fill parts needs accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service to customers at the counter, phone customers and the service department Provides recommendation for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories Processes in-store orders in a timely and accurate manner Completes orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status Locates and obtains merchandise for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked merchandise Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to department manager Assists with maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs Completes training required for the development of skills and knowledge Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Works cooperatively in a team environment Demonstrates a good work ethic Employs good time management skills and the ability to work independently Exhibits a constant commitment to customer service Communicates effectively one-on-one and in groups Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
