### Job Duties Start Date: 05/20/2026 End Date: 10/31/2026 Work hours: 48 hours/week, Monday - Saturday, 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must Apply By: 08/11/2026 Job Duties: Build, maintain, and move hives by truck. Monitor health and control pests/diseases and medicate bees when needed. Provide food, split colonies, rear queens, and harvest honey. Worker will also be expected to super hives & other related Beekeeper activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). The start and end of the workday depend on crop and weather conditions, which means work may begin or end earlier or later than usual. Evening and/or night hours may be required. Employees will be offered, at minimum, a 30-minute unpaid meal break each workday. ### Minimum Education Required None. No High School Diploma or GED required. ### Minimum Experience Required Must have 6 months experience. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Must have static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 75lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking or sitting is required. Frequent stooping or bending over is required. Repetitive movements are required. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 03/24/2025).
