Job Description A Technical Publisher is responsible for completing the following duties: *Develop and maintain operation, maintenance, installation, and parts manuals for Westmor products across all divisions *Identify, create, and maintain equipment safety andinformational decals *Provide various departments with technical publications support *Complete all tasks according to planned schedule *Prepare operation and maintenance manuals, instructions and/or parts manuals for productions units *Develop required technical publications for new products or procedures *Work with Engineering and Production on proper decal placement *Support customers/dealers with a means of acquiring aftermarket technical information *Create specialty manuals to fit end user requirements *Help prepare/develop technical documents and presentations for customer/dealer product training *Assist with Marketing functions *Other duties as assigned Qualifications *Technical and mechanical aptitude *Simple and to the point writing skills for step by step instructions *Capable to learn about equipment and write about it *Organize information and sort into usable information *Multi-task projects and organize workload to meet project deadlines *Must be a team player and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in the customer service department *Able to use Window-based software *Able to use Adobe- based products, Illustrator, Photoshop, and FrameMaker Expectations of Employees *Uphold company core values *Maintain a clean and organized work area *Utmost attention to safety *Good attendance and punctuality *Concern for quality *Attention to detail Traits of Successful Employees *Desire to build long term relationships *Exhibition of good communication skills when working with fellow employees *Ability to tolerate physical demands of the position *Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule *Willingness to help out where needed Employee Benefits *Weekly paycheck *Boot reimbursements up to $125 *Medical insurance - Covers 75% of premiums *Dental and vision insurance *Company paid life insurance *401K retirement account with 5% company match *On the spot bonuses up to $100 Learn more about Westmor Industries Location: 3 Development Drive Morris, MN 56267 Westmor Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
