Job Summary + The Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Unit is accountable for the safe, individualized, efficient, and effective management and delivery of nursing care for hospitalized inpatients and hospital-based outpatients. + A sincere desire to provide the highest quality of daily care and to develop meaningful relationships with our patients. + The ability to provide care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with your team. + Secondary department: ICU/CCU Licensure/Certification/Registration + Licensed as an RN in MN & BLS required upon hire, + PALS & ACLS certifications required within 90 days of hire, + Other certifications per policy according to area worked. Additional certifications may be required based on work assignments Work Schedule + Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am; 56 hours every 2 weeks + Every third weekend + One summer and one winter holiday shift per year + Occasional call time What Makes Avera Special?
