### Job Duties Start Date: May 1, 2026 End Date: Dec 31, 2026 Must Apply By: Sept 1, 2026 45 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Agricultural workers at hog barns will be responsible for installing and replacing machinery, equipment, and parts using hand and power tools. They will adjust, connect, and disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other components as needed. Workers will clean tools, work areas, and equipment using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. Duties also include applying protective materials to equipment and components to prevent defects and corrosion. Employees will position vehicles, machinery, and structures for assembly or installation and assemble and maintain physical structures to support efficient barn operations. In addition, they will disassemble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repairs and reassemble equipment once repairs are completed. ### Minimum Education Required No High School Diploma or GED required. ### Minimum Experience Required Applicants must have a minimum of one (1) month of experience in farm installation and maintenance. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds for distances of up to 75 yards. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
