The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time for all employees. This role requires in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, adherence to compliance standards, and an understanding of payroll-related tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving payroll issues. Key Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll, including wages, benefits, and deductions. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, answering employee inquiries with clarity and professionalism. Maintain and update payroll records and ensure data integrity across all payroll systems. Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure cohesive processing and reconciliation of payroll activities. Review and verify time entries, wage computations, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Prepare and maintain accurate payroll reports and records for internal auditing and compliance purposes.
