Ideally, candidates will work year-round. During the non-construction season, work will be performed in our shop. During the construction season travel will be required. Responsibilities: Analyzes operation of systems and components of heavy trucks and heavy construction equipment to determine performance using engineering specifications and test equipment. Inspects mechanical and electrical systems, diagnoses and repairs systems. Disassembles systems, examines parts for defects and excessive wear. Repairs or replaces defective parts, adjusts settings and reassembles according to specifications. Operates electronic testing equipment, precision instruments and gauges, hand tools, portable power tools, welding and cutting equipment and cranes and hoists. Welds and fabricates parts as needed. Performs other tasks as needed. Complies with Company Safety Program.
