Become a Junior Park Naturalist

Become a Junior Park Naturalist and learn about the Tallgrass Prairie.

As a Junior Park Naturalist, you will observe and study the plants and animals found on the Prairie. Meet at Upper Sioux Agency State Park from 10 am to 2pm, participants should pack a lunch.

Please dress for the weather, wear tennis shoes and long pants and may bring cameras but not necessary.

Date: Saturday, September 16th from 10 am to 2pm (please arrive by 9:45am)

Age: 8 to 14
Fee: $10 to be paid on sight (cash or check)
