Job Summary + The Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Unit is accountable for the safe, individualized, efficient, and effective management and delivery of nursing care for hospitalized inpatients and hospital-based outpatients. Education and/or Experience + Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. + Acute hospital setting experience preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration + Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire. + Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. + Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire. + Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire. Work Schedule + Day/Night shifts, every third weekend, every third holiday; 48 hours every 2 weeks + 4 - 12 hours shifts every 2 weeks What Makes Avera Special?
