### Job Duties Employer: Twin Spruce Farms, Inc. Job Title: Animal Breeders Job Location: 17565 County Road 43 Richmond, MN 56368 JOB DUTIES: Responsible for implementing animal breeding programs for commercial dairy operation. Specific duties include: (1) Implementing animal reproduction programs, including performing artificial insemination, heat detection, pregnancy detection, and embryo transfer; (2) Selecting animals to breed; (3) Implementing calving and calf rearing program; (4) Implementing herd maternity/obstetrics protocols; (5) Administering vaccinations and medications; (6) Maintaining detailed records of all herd reproduction and health programs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related. Housing available in exchange for rent. Salary Range: $49,587 - $72,000. Benefits include medical/dental insurance (employer pays 50%) and paid leave per MN ESST law. Life insurance and dependent medical/dental available for employee purchase.
