Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers-Livestock to work in Morris, MN Work: 08/20/2025 to 05/20/2026 55 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 10 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 01/04/2026 JOB DESCRIPTION: Workers will help with preparing equipment for oncoming dairy, assist with harvest operations including post-harvest maintenance, pre-plant maintenance, and snow removal. Beef feedlot is adding 1,000 head to cattle production and workers may also need to assist as needed. Machinery/equipment will be used for hauling and spreading manure with tractor and tank trailer, in the fields with a tractor and spreader, pumping manure, repairing and cleaning equipment to return from harvest, prepping equipment for planting, updating any equipment as needed, prepare irrigators for winterization, plant cover crop as needed to prevent winter erosion and weed growth, snow removal at the hog barns/ beef feedlot so that the livestock workers can get to the barns to take care of the animals. Moving around semis and milk trailers, fixing and preparing equipment for that. Once the feed lot project is completed, maintenance continued and assisting the beef team with new cattle inputs. Animal assistance maintenance, potentially processing, and assist with moving, and feeding under the direction of our skilled beef team. Work includes exposure to extreme weather, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
