This position exists to plan, develop, manage and coordinate the operation of the regional Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in accordance with the goals and objectives of the State Office at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (MN DEED) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) requirements. Responsibilities include administrative operations, budget management, program and small business advocacy, and overseeing small business counseling and training. This position requires a broad base of business knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Local and overnight travel is required.
