The purpose of this position is to provide athletic training services for the intercollegiate athletic program, including coverage of the athletic training facility, practices, along with home and away events. The athletic trainer will assist the head athletic trainer with assessment, care, prevention, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Athletic trainer will be responsible for pre-participation documentation and forms, injury and illness documentation, and treatment reporting documentation via SportsWare. The athletic trainer will perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and to maintain the reputation of Southwest Minnesota State University.
