Need 13 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers to work in Hancock, MN. From: 02/15/2025 - 12/01/2025 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 9 hrs./day. Sat.5hrs/day. Workers will be paid overtime in accordance with Minnesota Statute 177, specifically 177.25 Subdivision 1 and/or 177.23 Subdivision 7(2). Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DUTIES: Maintain current facilities, buildings and equipment; operate mostly John Deere equipment equipped with GPS auto-guidance for tilling, fertilizing and planting crops; rock picking and field maintenance; removing weeds if needed in edible bean fields; operate equipment for harvesting & storing crops such as corn, beets, soybeans, and edible beans; filling tote bags of edible beans, loading and unloading trucks; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Clean work areas and maintain grounds. Work performed requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements. Employer may request but not require workers to work on their Sabbath. Employer may pay workers more depending on experience. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience; able to lift 50 lbs.; able to perform work requiring exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements; Class D License or able to obtain driver's license following hire; obtain clean driving record; possible random drug test post hire at no cost to worker: testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
