### Job Duties Start Date: 08/15/2026 End Date: 6/15/2027 Work hours: 63 hours/week Monday - Sunday 10 hours/day (3 hours/day on Sunday) 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm’s operation. Must Apply By: 01/15/2027 Job Duties: This is a hog, corn, and soybean farm that needs help in barns and with grain operations. They raise about 14000 hogs per year. 50lbs to finish; 2400 acres of corn and soybeans utilizing center pivot irrigation. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self-propelled machinery; position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; trap and destroy pests; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc., planters, self-propelled machinery, semi-trucks, skid steers, spreaders, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce corn, soybeans. ### Minimum Education Required None. No High School Diploma or GED required. ### Minimum Experience Required Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employer's drug free and alcohol-free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must speak and understand English. Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking or sitting is required. Frequent stooping or bending over is required. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 04/07/2026). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
