Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com. **Responsibilities** **Position summary** The CAD Programmer Technician will be responsible for generating and controlling programs for production equipment using CAD/CAM software. Provide support to the technical staff during all phases of the product cycle from quoting to production. **Essential Job Functions** - Provide technical assistance to estimating for quotation purposes regarding machining operations - Evaluate programmability for machining operations - Utilize CAD/CAM to generate program files - Establish and maintain required programming files, directories, and security - Program control from "cradle to grave", revision control, and archiving - Ensure posts are in proper order to generate CNC code - Troubleshoot programs as necessary until a capable process yields an acceptable first piece that meets print/customer specification - Ensure the process yields an acceptable first piece that meets the quoted setup and rate. If not, either independently or alongside Engineering, troubleshoot as necessary until a capable process yields an acceptable first piece that meets the existing quote. . - Support CAPA investigations related to customer complaints ```{=html} ``` - - - **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience** - Associates degree or equivalent demonstrated technical experience - Two years-experience with CAD/CAM required - Proficient with a 3D CAD system (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, or other 3D CAD system) - Proficient with a CAM system (PTC Creo Manufacturing, Esprit, PartMaker, GibbsCAM, MasterCAM or other CAM system) - Knowledgeable with fixture and tool design - Advanced blueprint reading capabilities with knowledge of GD&T principals - Excellent problem-solving skills - Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills **Desirable Criteria & Qualifications** - Associates Degree in a technical field - Experience with Manufacturing ERP systems - Knowledge of SolidWorks preferred
