JOB SUMMARY: As the Continuous Improvement Generalist, you ll be responsible for assisting in, supporting, and taking a leadership role in assigned Continuous Improvement activities such as, but not limited to Kaizen events. This also includes Business Process Improvements, 3P, 5S, CI Teams, Data Collection, and Total Productive Maintenance. WHAT YOU LL BE DOING: Preparing work for various assigned Continuous Improvement events and activities Leading team-based activities focused on the improvement of Coldspring s business and/or manufacturing process Identifying and eliminating potential safety hazards and issues Using and understanding lean manufacturing principles and statistical measures to help ensure the success of projects assigned Assisting with the constant evaluation of techniques and methods needed to improve the overall performance of various Continuous Improvement activities and events Providing the necessary training to employees as requested in assigned Continuous Improvement programs Ensuring that Coldspring s Continuous Improvement activities are compliant with applicable policies and procedures Ensuring that your collection of data and information is accurate and reliable Traveling to other Coldspring locations to assist in the execution of CI efforts Leading quality improvement and problem-solving activities SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Above-average verbal and written skills Proficient in a variety of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and Visio Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the company Excellent organizational skills Ability to learn data analysis software such as Tableau and how to apply it Proficient in a variety of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and Visio Ability to learn and understand lean manufacturing including Time Based Strategy, Global Production Systems, Kaizen methodology, and training skills QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma required An associate s degree or bachelor's degree plus experience in a related field is preferred Experience: The candidate must possess experience in leading teams in a dynamic environment Having experience implementing lean principles in a manufacturing environment is a plus MAKE YOUR MARK AND MAKE IT LAST If assistance is needed in completing this application, please ca l or text Jillian Opdahl in Human Resources at (320) 685-4681 Coldspring is a Veteran Friendly, Wellness-Oriented, Tobacco-Free Company.
