(USA-MN-Balaton) Agricultural Equipment Operators

Need 7 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Balaton, MN. From: 02/26/2025 to 12/15/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day. 8:00 a.m. to 5: p.m. Hours may vary during different times of the crop season. Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Load hoppers with products. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Rock picking and install and repair irrigation systems. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum (3) months experience. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Able to obtain Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
