As the Quality Control Technician, I perform field and lab tests on ready-mix concrete to ensure compliance with ACI, ASTM, and DOT standards. This is a seasonal, entry-level role that provides hands-on experience in concrete testing and mix performance evaluation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Conduct slump, air content, unit weight, and temperature tests. * Collect and document concrete samples from production sites. * Assist with mix adjustments to maintain quality. * Maintain and calibrate testing equipment. * Accurately record and report test results. * Follow all safety protocols and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Ability to obtain ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I certification within 12 months of hire. * Ability to obtain MnDOT Plant/Agg/Field/Strength certification within 12 months of hire. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors * Must be willing to work early mornings, some nights, and some weekends * Valid driver's license (regularly required to drive and navigate to job sites) * Travel as required PREFFERED: * ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade 2 * MnDOT Plant/Agg/Field/Strength certified This seasonal, full-time hourly position comes with a strong benefits package including: * Competitive pay range of $22 - 28 per hour, based on experience and background * Overtime eligible after 40 hours * Paid Time Off * Strong Health Plans to choose from * Dental & Vision plans, Company Paid Life insurance & Short Term Disability * 401K with company match, and more!
