What you will do as a Machine Operator: Read process sheets Depress buttons and toggles Start the machining operation Observe displays on the control panel and compare with data on the process sheet to verify dimensional adjustments Perform spot checks on succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications per instruction on the In-Process Inspection Report Operate additional machines during computer-controlled machining cycles Tag and/or mark completed material and move product to appropriate areas Cross train on different equipment
