C and A Inc. Of Minnesota/dba/Dairy Queen Grill and Chill is looking to fill Dairy Queen Grill and Chill Crew at its restaurant located at 1701 South Broadway, Alexandria, MN 56308. These are temporary, full-time positions and we are looking to fill 8 job openings for employment from 04/01/2026 to 10/31/2026. Phone:(320)763-4556. Job duties include Make famous Dairy Queen soft serve. Make Shakes, Blizzards, and other Ice Cream Treats such as Sundaes and Royal Treats with proper recipe and product weight. Fill all prep cans such as Hot Fudge, Caramel, and Cocoa Fudge, fill all candy ingredients that go with Blizzard Flavors. Responsible for all FIFO products. Fill ice cream mix in the machine and filling pop products for the meals. Responsible for product inventory. Take daily & weekly temps, and do daily & weekly cleaning lists. Greet customers, take their orders, answer their questions, make sure they are being helped, thank them. Give customers big welcome and thank you, and invite them back next time. Cash and credit card handling, and make sure till drawers balance out at the end of the night. Keep the dining room clean and tables washed. Stock cake freezer and novelty freezer. Day-to-day filling of prep pans for the kitchen prep table such as slicing tomatoes and onions etc., make sure all condiments are filled. Toast buns and fill freezer stuff such as burgers, fries, cheese curds, and onion rings. Employer is offering 35 hour per week at a rate of $14.88/hr. Employer is offering up to 15 hours of overtime per week as needed, but not guaranteed. Overtime will be paid at a rate of $22.32/hr for working greater than 40 hours in any given week. Mon - Sun 9:00am - 10:30pm. Days and Shifts will vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings are required as needed. Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, skill, or experience. Employer is offering paid on the job training. No training or education required. 2 month experience in a food service setting required. The ability to lift up to 40lbs, reaching, Standing for long periods of time. Must be at least 18 years of age. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Optional employer housing is available at a cost of $100/per week. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. A single workweek will be used for computing wages due and workers will be paid every two weeks. The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions, which are not required bylaw. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees), incurred by theH-2B worker.
