SUMMARY:Beardsley Day
DESCRIPTION:Beardsley Day will be packed with great activities for children and adults. This one day extravaganza begins with the Cancer Kickers 5k Walk/Run – registration at 7:30am and the run/walk at 8:00am. Proceeds go to theStrides of Hope Cnacer Support Group Sponsored by Valley Grain Co. Trucking Inc.\, Bobby Jo’s\, and Issendorf Construction & Thrivent. The Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament begins at 9:30am\, and those proceeds also go to Strides of Hope. The Bag Tournament practice begins at 10:00am and the competition begins at11am. Again\, the proceeds go to Strides of Hope. Concessions will be available thoughout both tournaments. \nAt 1:00pm is the Kids Pedal Tractor Pull in the city park\, with registration beginning at 12:30pm. The Beardsley Day Parade is at 3:00pm\, quickly followed by the Ice Cream Social outside Bobby Jo’s at 4:00pm. Plus\, a Magic Show will take place \, at 4:30pm. The Beardsley Alumni Reunion will be at 5pm in the Beardsley Auditorium\, and will highlight classes ending in 2 and 7. \nAt 6:30pm is the Hypnotist\, and the Beardsley Fireman’s Street Dance will go from 8pm until midnight\, featuring Junk FM. The One More Beer Gardens will open at 1pm and food will be available starting at 5 at Bobby Jo’s and One More.
