Valentine’s Day Alcohol Ink Tile Class with Melanie Gatchell

Join artist, Melanie Gabbert-Gatchell as she guides participants as they work with alcohol inks on a 4″x4″ colored tile. Pink, blue, yellow, mint or white tiles will be available to choose from to create a perfect gift for someone special–even if that someone special is you!

The class will be working with alcohol ink, canned air, paint brushes, alcohol ink markers, blending solution, stencils and other tools to create unique pieces. Students ages 12 and up can create whatever they want, but the focus will be on Valentine’s Day, so creating hearts and flowers will be a focus.

Class is Saturday, February 3rd starting at 1:00pm at the K.K. Berge Gallery in beautiful downtown Granite Falls by the walking bridge.

Cost is $25/ person and all supplies will be provided to make 1 tile painting (more tiles will be available to create at an additional cost of $5 each). Art tiles make perfect gifts! Participants should wear an apron or old clothes as the alcohol inks could stain your clothes.
