The American White Pelican: A Treasure of Southwest Minnesota

Ever wonder how or why these great white birds make their way to southwestern Minnesota each year? This once-threatened species ranks among one of the largest birds in the world and hangs out “Right In Our Own Backyard”.

Come and learn about this amazing bird, its habitat and about only one of tow Rookeries in Minnesota.

This event is Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Yellow Medicine East High School Board Room and begins at 6:30 pm. It is free and open to the public. Register at the link below.
