Quietly Beautiful - Wildly Connected
This turn-of-the-century 22 room brick farm home is situated on a 17 acre farmstead along with a timber-framed barn built in the 1880’s, grist mill and private family burial plot. Olof Swensson was one of Minnesota’s most innovative immigrants.
The Museum opens to the public on the Sunday o Memorial Day weekend and is open Sundays from 1pm – 5pm through Labor Day weekend. Private tours are available by appointment only. The site is also available for weddings, family reunions, meetings, etc. Admission required, free parking.
